A nursery run by people who repot things themselves.
BOTNICA started with a terrace of hibiscus and marigold pots and a habit of giving plants away to neighbours who asked what they were. It is now a nursery, a small design crew and a maintenance round across the city.
Why we are picky
We would rather sell you one plant that lives.
A nursery is easy to run badly. Buy cheap stock, keep it alive long enough to sell, move on. We hold plants for a season before they go out, so what you take home has already survived a hot April and a wet August here.

How we work
Three rules we hold to
We ask about light, water and travel before we recommend anything. If nothing we stock suits your space, we say so.
Most of what we sell was propagated or hardened off here. The rest comes from [ADD NUMBER] growers we visit ourselves.
